All that we have been
able to accomplish thus far would not have been remotely
possible without the support of our partners and

This is a joint
endeavor of US Districts 5110 and 5160. District
9200 in East Africa helped during the initial trials by
identifying recipients. Rotarians in Nairobi, Anasha, and Kampala coordinated recipients from Kenya,
Tanzania, and Uganda whether other Rotarians and
especially Rotaractors and Interactors provided
invaluable assistance during the trial period.
After viewing the
hand at the District 5110 conference in May of 2005
and meeting with the team,
Past RI President Frank J. Devlyn, gave the
initiative
his personal approval and support.
